This blend is heavily fortified with varietals rich in caffeine and roasted dark - but never overroasted - to suit those who enjoy an extra "kick" (or two...) in their cup of espresso. Besides producing incredible amounts of rich crema when prepared as espresso, Classico is surprisingly versatile and rich as a filter coffee. Those searching for more delicate flavors should look elsewhere, but this is the base of choice for espresso hounds who enjoy large or flavored lattes and cappuccinos, as the intensity of Classico easily comes through the milk and flavorings.
